Nana Hannah was born out of a nightly ritual with my own little ones — a cozy, peaceful way to end the day and ease into sleep. What started as a personal bedtime tradition has grown into a gentle, nurturing podcast designed to help children wind down, relax, and drift off with ease. Each episode of Bedtime Stories with Nana Hannah offers a calm and immersive experience, starting with a short, child-friendly guided meditation to help settle busy minds and bodies. From there, a soothing original bedtime story unfolds, accompanied by soft nature sounds, gentle music, and eventually fading into calming white noise. Written, produced and narrated by Hannah Hellyer, each story is designed to create a peaceful environment and support a healthy bedtime routine. These 45 minutes episodes are thoughtfully structured to support sleep by including: 15 minutes of storytelling 15 minutes of calming music and nature sounds 15 minutes of white noise, slowly fading out as your little one drifts off to sleep. This format mirrors the natural time it often takes for children to fall asleep, helping to guide them gently from wakefulness to rest — and hopefully giving parents a quiet moment too! Bedtime Stories with Nana Hannah was a finalist for best children’s podcast at the 2024 Australian Podcast Awards.
