How do I join?

You must have a Yoto account to join My Yoto Tokens programme. If you have made a purchase recently, create a Yoto account using the same email address to get tokens from your first order.

Note: If you have been purchasing from another websites (i.e. international website), please get in touch at hello@yotoplay.com so we can transfer your account and tokens over to your local store.

How do I earn tokens?

Piece of cake! You can collect tokens by referring friends and making purchases from our website. Tokens will automatically show up in your account.

How do I view my token balance?

Log in to your account and click on My Yoto Tokens to check your balance.

Is there a limit of tokens I can earn?

There is currently a limit of 12,000 tokens ($100) that you can redeem at once at checkout. The minimum tokens spend is 400 tokens.

I made a purchase with a different email address; can I still get tokens?

Tokens cannot be transferred; please ensure you use your Yoto account email at checkout.

I made a purchase at a merchant site, can I still get rewarded?

No, you can only earn Yoto tokens for orders made on yotoplay.com, eu.yotoplay.com, us.yotoplay.com, au.yotoplay.com and ca.yotoplay.com

Is my first order rewardable?

Yes! After your first purchase*, you’ll have one month to create a Yoto account and claim the tokens for that purchase. You’ll miss out on those tokens if you don’t create your account within one month. Please ensure you create a Yoto Account with the email address you used at checkout.

What does the “approved”, “pending” and “cancelled” status mean?

Approved: You earned these tokens which can be redeemed immediately. 

Pending: No biggie, these tokens just need to be verified before you can redeem them. This applies to purchases and referrals. For purchases, tokens will be approved 30 days after your purchase. For referrals, they will be approved within 30 days from your friend’s purchase. We cannot speed up this process, so thanks in advance for your patience while your tokens are pending.

Cancelled: These tokens will not be added to your account. For example, this will happen if you cancel a purchase (the points will change from pending to cancelled) or if a friend you referred has cancelled their order.

I completed an activity but didn’t get tokens!

It can sometimes take a few minutes for us to process your activity and provide tokens. When referring friends, it may take up to 7 days for your tokens to become available. It takes 21 days for purchases. If it’s been longer than that, then please get in touch at hello@yotoplay.com

How do I redeem my tokens?

Log in to your account, click on My Yoto Tokens then Spend tokens to see how many tokens you have and your options for redeeming them. If you have enough tokens, you can redeem them directly at checkout or get a free shipping voucher.

I can't see how to redeem my tokens on mobile, help!

Simply click on Show order summary at the top of the checkout page to see the token dropdown. From there you can redeem the tokens you have available. Don't forget to login before you checkout to see that option!

Why did my token balance go down?

It happens! It might be because you (or someone you referred) cancelled or returned a purchase. Your tokens may have expired if it’s been a year since your last purchase.

What happens if I redeem a reward and then return a purchase? Do I get my tokens back?

Once your tokens have been used, they will not be re-issued. We cannot refund any Yoto tokens once used, even if the items you purchased with them are returned. 

Is there a limit of tokens I can use at one time?

There is currently a limit of 12,000 tokens ($100) that you can redeem at once at checkout. The minimum tokens spend is 480 tokens.

Can I redeem my tokens during the promotional periods?

Unfortunately you cannot redeem your tokens or refer a friend when a promotion is live on our websites as only one discount can be applied at a time. You will still earn tokens during those times.

Can I redeem tokens using ShopPay?

We are investigating ways to make this feasible, in the meantime, please use a different payment provider

How do I leave the programme?

That's a bummer! If you no longer wish to collect tokens, please contact us at hello@yotoplay.com and ask to be removed from the programme. In doing so, you will lose any tokens you have earned, and you will not be able to rejoin the programme.

Where can I find my referral link?

Log in to your account, click on My Yoto Tokens then Refer friends to get your unique link.

How do I refer a friend?

To refer a friend, simply share your referral link with them via email, text, carrier pigeon, social media – or almost any other way you wish. We ask that you do not distribute your code via deals sites, Yoto social media posts and advertisements, or marketplaces*.

Please note that you cannot refer friends outside Australia as your Australian referral link will not work on other local site.

*We do not allow the sharing of referral codes in the following places: 
- Coupon sites
- Yoto’s social media posts, pages or advertisements
- Other third party sites and marketplaces such as eBay

If codes are found on any of the above, we reserve the right to ban you from our programme and cancel all tokens gained. Please only use the codes as they are intended - for inviting your friends and being rewarded for being an active part of our community!

How do I track my referral status?

Log in to your account, click on My Yoto Tokens then scroll down to your history to see your activity.

What rewards do friends I refer get?

 By using your referral link, your friend(s) will receive 10% off their first purchase when they spend $99 or more. Please note that the referral code only works if your friends aren’t already Yoto customers.

Can my friend apply my code after they’ve made their purchase?

Your friends cannot apply your code after they have bought their Player. Please ensure that they know this when you share your code.

Can I refer myself?

No. You cannot refer yourself and attempts to do so may result in you being banned from the programme.

I’m in Australia, can I refer a friend based in the U.S.A? Europe ? Or UK?

Unfortunately not. If you're in Australia, you cannot refer friends who live in the U.S.A, EU or UK as your referral link is not valid on their local stores. You can only refer friends who are able to purchase from the same store as you.
